Official Gameloft Announcement: Starting on March 6, 2024, the Facebook Gaming version of Dragon Mania Legends will be shut down and players will not be able to access it anymore. In-app purchase options will also stop working shortly before the aforementioned date.

If players wish to continue playing the game after March 6, they need to contact Customer Care to transfer their DML Facebook Gaming profile to a supported platform, such as Windows PC, Android, or iOS.

A bug occurred during the Dragon Board (24/01/26) event, resulting in the reset of event currency and Double Trouble progress. A campaign of 57,000 Birthdaystones was provided as compensation. Some players reported issues receiving the compensation, these players were advised to wait a bit longer to receive it, but that if it was not received by the next day, to please notify Customer Care to have the amount resent. Players with other specific cases related to this issue, or related to Birthdaystones, were also to contact in-game Customer Care. The compensation issue was subsequently resolved.

Gameloft announced that "For the current event, DML team has decided to keep it without Tyrant pieces just to prevent any more confusion and maintain fairness among players who have already invested in chest openings without Tyrant pieces."

The Bottomless Dungeon (24/01/01) event was changed from a catch-up Dungeon, that potentially gave prior event Dragon pieces, to a regular Dungeon event. The event also has an unusual time frame of 11 days instead of 7 days.

This week's Bottomless Dungeon Guaranteed Dragon's bug was fixed. Instead of the initial Sweater Dragon the correct Underlord Dragon is now available. Players who received the wrong Dragon could exchange their Sweater for Underlord via Customer Care.

The Dormant Volcano event ended.
This week's Bottomless Dungeon Guaranteed Dragon (BDGD) event has a bug, it displays the wrong guaranteed dragon (Flagros Dragon). The chests and the final multi-open chest provide only Dragon Pieces for prior event dragons, as is typically given in post-event "catch up" dungeon events; Sweater Dragon is the Guaranteed Dragon, rather than Flagros or the Underlord Dragon (the latter of which was the announced BDGD).

This week's Bottomless Dungeon Guaranteed Dragon (BDGD) was originally set up wrong, causing a bug in the Dragon Grid event (mismatch between BDGD and Dragon Grid required dragon). As such, no bonus energy capacity was given for obtaining the BDGD until it had been fixed (1 day).

Adam confirms that Gameloft announced the closure of the Studio in Budapest:

“So to clarify:

- Yes, Gameloft Budapest will be closing in its entirety. This process will take some time, but by the end there will be no Budapest studio for Gameloft.
- DML will continue to be supported by Gameloft, and a different studio within the company will take on the game's continued development. Our work in the coming weeks is to ensure the next team will have all they can to continue development, and to try to minimize the disruption to the game and the players.
- The planned events will continue as intended, and we'll communicate info about the upcoming Tyrant Event soon (and the positive changes we have made based on your feedback.)”

9,200 Shadowstones (2,000 beginning currency, plus a full 24 hours, or 7,200, of lost event currency) were released to players as compensation for the prior shrine bug and event pause, and the Dragon Board event was restarted.

13 February 2023

A bug in the Oyar Returns event unintentionally omitted the shrine for part II. The Dragon Board event (only) was removed from the game until the missing shrine can be added, resulting in a temporary inability to collect Dragon Board currency. The game also crashes if the Dragon Board button is tapped on the Island event screen.

Players were advised to avoid pressing the Dragonboard button meanwhile, and that compensation would be given.

In-game compensation (of 3,600 Malletstones) was provided to affected players for the unintended Dragon Board event currency reset bug.
