This template defines the table "Events". This table has not been created yet.

TESTS

This template is used for all Events taking place. It's quite extensive to satisfy every event type. More extensive documentation can be found on the Talk page.

Template parameters

This template prefers block formatting of parameters.

Advertisement Image	ad	Normally, {{Exists}} checks against either the title of the page or the value of prize to retrieve a matching ad. The name of the file must either follow this pattern: File:{NameEvent} (yy.mm.dd) Promotion.jpg, File:{prize} Dragon Event.jpg or this pattern: File:{prize} Dragon Promotion (NameEvent).jpg. In those cases, in which a pattern is not found, the advertisement must be manually inserted. Add the name of the image while omitting File: and its extension, as in "Chemistry Dragon & Duskwing Dragon Promotion (Weekend Events)" for example. Start Date	started	Date of the start of the event. If omitted, the start date is generated from the page title. Example 12 August 2020	Date	suggested
Duration	duration	Number of days the event took place. The ended date is calculated by either the type or with the duration. Example 2 Days	String	suggested
Event Type	type	Type of the event. Choose from: Arcade, Calendar, Castle, Chain Breeding, Clan, Collection, Community, Dragon Dice, Feeding, Food Gathering, Gem Spending, Gold Collecting, Gold Spending, Hatching, Relay, Sigil, Solo. Or enter the new type. Example Calendar	String	suggested
Prize Dragon	prize	Add the name of the Dragon, while omitting the additional "Dragon" from the name. This parameter is to be used only if the Dragon is the main reward of the event. In the case of regular events, it is the prize for placing in the highest spots of the leaderboard at the end of the event. For other events, it is the prize given for completing the event. If no prize should get displayed, specify the {specific=Prize} parameter. Example Don	String	suggested

Generic Leaderboard	generic	Check the generated Leaderboard with the real one of the event. There are several generic leaderboards that are used for the vast majority of regular events. These can be found here. Some types of events have their own generic leaderboard (such as Hatching Events, Gem Spending Events and Clan Events). Other events make use, more often than not, of a particular generic leaderboard: VIP Events = Leaderboard 1 Gold Collecting Events and Gold Spending Events = Leaderboard 2 VIP Food Gathering Events = Leaderboard 3 Hatching Events with a Dragon as the main prize = Leaderboard 4 Feeding Events and Food Gathering Events = Leaderboard 5 Example 1 (for the "President Day (16/02/15)" event)	Number	suggested
Badge Name	badge	Displays the badge that can be obtained within an event. Add the name of the badge while omitting the additional "Badge" from the name. The first letter of each word in the badge name must be capitalized.	String	suggested
Hero Dragon	hero	Used to indicate the Hero Dragon needed to participate in the Relay Event (Hero's Challenge). Add the name of the Dragon while omitting the additional "Dragon" from the name. Example Bludgeon	String	suggested
Gem Spending Milestone Dragon	dragon	Used to indicate the Dragon given as the final milestone reward in Gem Spending Events and the Dungeon Shop Dragon. As with prize, add the name of the Dragon while omitting the additional "Dragon" from the name. This parameter is used only with Gem Spending and Bottomless Dungeon Events. Non-Dragon reward	reward	Apart from Clan Events and the majority of Hatching Events, all other events almost always offer Dragons as their main prize. Since the prizes for Hatching Events are automatically generated, this parameter is only used when either a generic prize is not applicable or when a Dragon is not the main prize of the event (thus the prize parameter is not to be used). The parameter is also applicable to any other event that does not offer Dragons as a prize, such as the aforementioned Clan Events, to override the generic default. Skip table generating	table	In those cases in which an event has any of the built-in generic prizes and the generic parameter can also not retrieve matching data, this parameter must be used to either negate the leaderboard or negate the milestone along with the leaderboard. Depending on what is excluded, the prizes must be manually added through the use of {{Milestones}} or/and {{Leaderboard}}. Note that milestone negation is not possible without the inclusion of the leaderboard because the milestone is generated ahead of the leaderboard. So, even if it happens that a milestone is generic (but a leaderboard is not) both must still be negated. Example 1 / 2	Number	suggested
Rewards are atypical	specific	Used when a Calendar Event does not double the prizes for Trainers with an active VIP Status (=novip) or the amount of (Divine) Tickets per round in a Relay Event is apart from the default of 15. Sidenote text	text	Some observations that can be made include whether this type of event had double prizes, took place in the game for the very first or the very last time, or if the event was not available in a particular region because of a concurrent and exclusive event for that region, or any other factual and objective notes. Make sure to follow the writing style as specified in the Manual of Style. Example This event was not available in Australia because of the concurrent G'Day event.	String	suggested
Event Description	description	Displays the custom, in-game description. It is used only when an event does not have a generic, built-in description. When a unique description exists, write it exactly as it is written in the game. Example Some dragons feel at home on both land and sea; welcome them by completing goals to earn rewards.
