OVERVIEW
Dragon's Delight Event Generic Promotion.jpg
Arcade Events are events in which participants gift various objects to their Dragons to move higher on the leaderboard and earn progress rewards.
INFORMATION
Started: 21 March 2022
Ended: 28 March 2022
Duration: 7 Days
Type: Arcade
Prize: Nocturne Dragon Icon.png Nocturne Dragon

Dragon's Delight is a limited-time competition in which Trainers earn as many Happy Dragon Icon.png Happy Dragon points as possible by fulfilling Dragon requests. The points accrue towards milestone prizes.

Mechanics

Every six hours, from the beginning of the event, Trainers can complete various tasks to earn currency specific to the event. The currency is used to activate the filling of three separate tubes. Each tube provides three random items and each tube can be refilled in exchange for more currency once it is empty.

Four random Dragons are shown, requesting a number of items depending on their rarity. Items in the bottom row of the tubes can be gifted to these Dragons, but the item must match one of the Dragon's requests. If the Trainer does not have matching items for any of the Dragons, they can choose to empty File:Trash All Button.png all of the tubes and then pay to refill each one or they can swap out any of the given Dragons using the File:Refresh Button.png button and waiting one hour (Gems can be used to skip the waiting period).

After a Dragon's requested items are gifted to them, Happy Dragon Icon.png points are awarded according to their rarity and that Dragon is immediately replaced by a different Dragon. The points awarded are automatically added to the Trainer's overall score.

Gifting the Item - Joker.png Joker Item to a Dragon immediately fills all the requests of it and awards the points. These Joker Items appear at random with 5% probability and guaranteed after every 20 items spawned.

Gifting items to the Dragons fills up the Frenzy Meter with 10 points each. After reaching 500 points the Frenzy mode is activated, giving 3x the points for a duration of 60 seconds. While filling the Meter it gets decreased every second by 1 point, regardless if the Event is played or not.

(Note: A minimum score is needed to participate and qualify for the grand (leaderboard) prize. Trainers are randomly placed in groups of 100, where the top Trainer(s) of each grouping will receive the main prize of the event.)

Earning Event Currency (Arcade).jpg
Collect Dorbs 1.png

Trainers collect Dorbs Icon.png by performing various actions to receive five different items (Item - Book.png Item - Crown.png Item - Gem.png Item - Key.png Item - Statue.png) from three different tubes. These items can be given to any of the four Dragons that appear on the screen as long as they match those that the particular Dragon wants. To fulfill a Dragon's happiness and therefore earn a point, the Trainer must deliver the exact items it asks for. Once a Dragon has received all the requested items, a new Dragon will appear.

If the Trainer does not have matching items for any of the Dragons, they can trash all of them by selecting the    Trash All    Trash Icon.png button, an action that is free of charge, but empties all tubes. Alternatively, the Trainer can opt to swap any of the current Dragons with another through the Refresh Icon.png button for the possibility of receiving a more convenient set of requested items. Refreshing is free, but will take 60 minutes unless the Trainer decides to speed it up with Gems. Each tube holds up to three items and can be refilled by pressing the   Fill
60
button in exchange for Dorbs once they have been emptied. Only the items on the bottom part of the machine can be given to a Dragon, however, the items that come before them are visible, allowing the Trainer to plan ahead and strategize their delivery.

Giving items to Dragons earns points which add to the Trainer's total score. The Trainers are randomly placed in a group of 100, where the top Trainers receive the main prize of the event and the rest receive different Card Packs and other types of resources depending on their final score. A minimum score of 350 is needed to qualify for the grand prize, namely the leaderboard prize. The Trainers will also earn various reward by reaching the set milestones.

Tasks

There are six different actions that can earn Dorbs. Each action can only give a maximum of 300 Dorbs Icon.png once every 6 hours for a total maximum of 1,800 Dorbs Icon.png per cycle. Dorbs are earned through collecting Gold (only when the Gold icon appears atop the Habitat), harvesting Food from the Farms, breeding Dragons, feeding Dragons, winning battles and catching flying creatures; more information on how to fulfill each task can be seen by pressing the i button.

Important Icon.png Dorbs obtained from food-collecting tasks are awarded upon collecting Food and not planting it, whereas Dorbs acquired from breeding tasks are awarded upon pressing the Breed button inside the Breeding Den and not upon moving an egg to the Hatchery.

The maximum amount of Dorbs that can be received from a task in this event is 300 Dorbs Icon.png, thus, no higher number can be obtained. Any values over 300 are merely representative.

  1. These values are calculated based on perfect cycles, assuming that there is no loss of time in between re-planting Food. However, one must take into account that collecting and planting Food does consume a certain amount of time, which depends on the Trainer's speed, therefore, the amounts will vary (lower than shown).
Points for Breeding Dragons

The maximum amount of Dorbs that can be received from a task in this event is 300 Dorbs Icon.png, thus, no higher number can be obtained. Any values over 300 are merely representative.

The listed Dragons are maximum two examples for breeding - there may be more than two available breeding options.
If only one Dragon is listed, this is the only option.

  1. Recommended Offspring indicates those Normally-Breedable Dragons with guaranteed combinations as well as Base Dragons that share the specified breeding time. It is suggested to breed these to obtain Dorbs Icon.png because there is at least one combination that will result only in the desired outcome, avoiding unwanted offspring with breeding times different than the one looked after.
  2. Other Dragons include Normally-Breedable Dragons that share the specified breeding time with the exception of Dragons with guaranteed combinations and Base Dragons. Dragons with breeding times over 18 hours non-VIP are not shown, as obtaining them will award the maximum of 300 Dorbs Icon.png within the highest level. They take longer to breed, but yield the same amount of Dorbs Icon.png as shorter options, making them a less efficient alternative.
