Dragon styles refer to Dragon Body Shapes. These Dragons are snake-like with a thin, elongated body that coils up from the midsection to the tap of the tail, tapering towards the tail. Few have feet but those that do have very small feet. Some also have arms that often start from below the neck. The internal game descriptor for this body shape is snake.

The word serpentine generally means "of or like a serpent or snake".
